This week I am on the observer seat. For the type rating a new colleague has to finished his simulator training ,thereafter he has to do touch & goes with the real Aircraft. He his starting after two observer flights on the right seat. His first flights are only with Exemininers & Instructors, and a experienced first officer is in the back to give the new colleague some advice and ideas what’s going on on the real operation. On my first days in the line, I was really thankful that a experienced colleague was there to help me out. After years I can now be the guy 🤓😊
